Hey I'm still here!
I'm still here, are any of my friends still here. I'm trying to work out if I should keep posting here or start a new blog all together. My hobbies have changed a bit, I'm still into dolls but not quite as heavily. I post on Instagram all the time but sometimes it's nice to have a place to write. So if anyone reads this I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Looking for La Dolce Bambola
Hi everyone!
At the moment I am desperately looking for a doll called La Dolce Bambola by Jun Hee Park she was made in 2010 by Haute Doll. Please if you have one you want to sell or have seen one for sale please leave me a comment. Thank you x x

So I'm going through the Kaye Wiggs bug at the moment. Totally obsessed, looking only at KW dolls on Flickr, scouring every marketplace I can find for dolls for sale and reading as much info about them on the net as I can. This for me, is just as much fun as actually buying a doll.
Then I got to thinking that I totally forget about all the other beautiful dolls I already have. So I'm setting myself a little challenge. I am going to take a photo each week of each and every one of my dolls. I must change their clothes, try a different wig and eyes (because it's too easy to just take them off the shelf as is and take a few snaps). I think this will be a good way to reignite my doll love and hopefully a good way of sorting through clothes, wigs and shoes etc. Some pics might be taken with my phone and some with my big camera, what ever I feel like or have time for on the day.
I feel like I've lost a bit of my creative edge lately, haven't felt very inspired by anything. Time to change that, I'm definitely happier if I'm creating something.
The last couple of weeks it's been all about my new girl (KW Blue Koneko) Clara. I took a couple of pics of her in the garden and she is wearing a beautiful little dress by Lillilace that I bought probably a year ago and it's sat in a box waiting for the right doll to wear it.
Its weird because I never really paid much attention to Koneko when I first got into KW dolls a couple of years ago. It was all about fair skin human Miki back then, I wanted her so bad but never got her and then sort of forgot about them. Then I saw a pc of Koneko by Nimrod Masquerade I think her username is on flick and I thought wow she is amazing! I loved her eyes and mouth and the blue skin was so perfect for her. As if it was meant to be I looked at DoA marketplace and there for sale was a Blue Koneko. I put her on layaway and was a bit worried that when I did get her home I wouldn't like her but I couldn't have been more wrong. I don't think I realised just how lucky I was to find this girl on the secondary marketplace. Obviously I do now and she is just so precious to me.

A tale of four Tobi's
Kaye Wiggs Tobi is the sculpt that is pulling at my heart and purse strings at the moment. But which resin colour to order. If I won lotto I would have all four because they are all simply delicious in their own right.
Now I've just got wind that there will be a handful of fair and sun kissed Tobi's at Jpop dolls at the end of the week, left overs from the pre order. I do love the fair skin because of the freckles, sun kissed is also gorgeous but I've ordered a sun kissed Miki and I need to be disciplined about how many of these dolls I collect, so the plan is not to have more than one of the same skin colour or sculpt. But damn look how gorgeous these dolls are!
I adore the grey skin but she has just had a preorder with sun kissed Miki and I ordered Miki and of course now I want Tobi too! Hopefully there will be some leftover grey Tobi's when the dolls are all shipped out (August/September). I also love how dark wigs and brightly coloured wigs go so well with the grey skin and the face up on the grey skin looks pretty.
The dark skin one is devine, I think she is coming up for preorder later in the year. Well I thought writing it all out might help me make sense of it all but it hasn't I still want all of them!!!!! LOL

It's been that long?
Wow I haven't been here in like forever!
Absolutely smitten with this doll. My first ever Kaye Wiggs doll. I was surprised at how big she is is, I expected MSD size and she is more like SD size, a smidge smaller and slimmer. Her resin is almost wax like, translucent, so lovely and smooth and her face up is to die for. Love love love! Yep I'm a happy camper :o)
Time flies when you're having fun I guess lol.
Current new love is my Kaye Wiggs Blue Koneko.
Minifee Celine, who I'd had on layby arrived and promptly left this week. I should have known me and a Minifee wouldn't work. She was lovely, just not for me. Anyway she went to a new home pretty much as soon as I uploaded her pic to Flickr so that worked out nicely. Just need to sell my Volks Yo Linn now.

I'm using the Blogger app to post to here most of the time. It looks different I guess it's updated. Every time I come look at my blogger I think I've got to fix up my blog, the pages tabs I started ages ago and never did finish. It's like a half finished house, it erks me. Not that I get many visitors to this old house but it still annoys me.
My doll love has been resurrected lately. I'm dreaming of a white skinned Miyu as my little albino girl. Also made the mistake of looking at the Napidoll website and now I want to order a Rogebell head.....again. I wanted to order her when she first came out but then talked myself out of it. But the thought of missing out and regretting it is something I can't stomach. I have until 10th April to make my decision. I'm half way through my layaway order for Minfee Celine. To be honest I'm not as excited about her as I first was and I almost wanted to cancel the order and switch my order to a Miyu but I've decided to wait until she gets here and make my decision about her then. It's not even as if there is anything not to like about her it's just I want something else and with this hobby being so expensive I can't just buy the one I want right then and there so it's either a layaway situation or save up. Me being me is already planning the next doll as soon as I've ordered the first one lol.
In car news we are still waiting for the FC to arrive. They were meant to pick her up over a week ago but didn't because they thought she wasn't running grrrrr. Hopefully she has been picked now or at least getting picked up early next week. I just want her here! The name Gertie seems to have stuck :o)
With the terrible events of last Sunday night we are planning on building a cat enclosure or as we like to call it a catio :o) I wrote briefly about what happened on my Instagram but still can't bring myself to write anymore about it :o( I've been pinning like a crazy cat lady on Pinterest all the pics I can find about cat enclosures and how to build your own.
Question for the day...Why do I always think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, why can't I see that my grass is pretty darn green too?
I know this isn't green grass but its a green dress and I like it :p

* I haven't even see the new Oz movie and yet I'm already in love with the little China girl. I went hunting around our local Target and rang another one near by and couldn't find her and the staff working there were no help (how unusual) so I thought stuff it I'll buy her off eBay, which I did. Hoping she doesn't take forever to arrive.
* Sold my Angel Egg doll, on layaway but the buyer seems genuine. Still haven't sold Kurumi or Lin, I've had someone messaging me on Flickr and DoA asking questions, getting me to find out postage and then of course not replying back. I'm thinking maybe I'll just hang on to them, get them faced up by Nomyens one day and love them forever. Like most of you I only sell because I need the money to buy something else and luckily the dolls I want aren't limited and I could hold off buying them til next year and save up properly. I've got a Minifee Celine on layaway at DDE and luckily I have the money put aside for that from the sale of Mari and Heero, the Angel Egg money can go on my credit card. It's all good :o)
* I bought a Blythe from an LJ friend :o) Yes it was on impulse but I'm really excited. She is a Rainy Day Parade Blythe which means she has dark bobbed hair, I know it's a bit egocentric but I'm going to make her my mini me lol. She may get some customization down the track but for now I'll be happy just to dress her up and play with her. My other Blythes just sit on the shelf like ornaments around the house so it will be fun to have one to play with. I'm already thinking of clothes and shoes, I'd love to get my hands on some Dr Martens Momoko boots.
* In other non doll news I am getting a new car!! Well not new, new, quite old actually. I've always wanted an old Holden and one night chatting with my petrol head hubby we looked at an online site called Gumtree and found the car of my dreams, a 1958 FC Holden. We contacted the seller, made an offer and it was accepted. We are in the process of getting her transported over to us as she is in the other side of Australia. She will need a bit of work before I can drive her but man I am soooooo excited!!
* I've finally started watching Downton Abbey, why did I wait so long?! Oh I love it! Just finished season one and about to start of season two. I had no idea it was set in Yorkshire and I've heard them mention Ripon (where my Dad was born) and Malton (where I was born) squee! I get quite sentimental about my hometown, I think I've got quite a romantic notion about it all, maybe it's just magical childhood memories but it always seems so picturesque and perfect. I know if I lived there still I would probably whinge about it like I do about where I live now lol. Anyway Downton, I'm addicted!

Geez I haven't posted in a while. Reminds me of a saying I once heard, "All bad bloggers go to Facebook" or in my case Facebook and Instagram lol.
We're on the last leg on school holidays (yeehaa). Looking forward to having some me time and getting on top of my housework and never ending pile of washing.
I've had a frustrating week of shopping this week. Found a really cute dress (I hardly ever wear dresses) only to find it sold out in my size at two stores and online. Then ordered some really cute shoes online only to discover when they were delivered I had ordered the UK size not the Aussie size which made them two sizes too big for moi. Then I accidentally fell in love with a cute hand bag, well two cute hand bags actually but they were out of my price range for hand bags i didnt really need I thought no worries I will find them cheaper online and I did but the store won't send to Australia. Ugh!
I've been toying with the idea of upgrading my iPhone from the 3GS to the 5 all because my Fitbit will be able to wirelessly update rather than having to turn on my pc (that is dead anyway thanks to the power supply kicking the bucket). Ridiculous I know, but little things bug me, especially technical things. I like things to work properly and I am pedantic, maybe anal...yes definitely anal lol. Anyway so I've been doing my research and the main thing that puts me off iPhone 5 is the plug, why on earth did Apple have to change the plug?! It means that the phone won't fit into any of my MP3 players and I just bought a digital radio that has the old iPhone plug on it grrrr. I'll also need to get a new in car kit because my car doesn't have the blue tooth to be able to connect with the phone. So I don't know what to do. I really wanted to just upgrade to a 4s but now my phone company doesn't offer the 4s. Maybe I should just buy a 4s phone outright and be done with it. Or maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy a 5, I guess all the equipment that goes with it will be starting to make plugs that fit that and not the old devices anyway sooner or later. Or if they have this new Bluetooth maybe they won't need plugs at all???? Ah technology O_o
On to dolls. I have fallen in love with tan dolls. I just bought a Secretdoll Person 21 in tan, can't wait until she arrives. I would love to get a pale tan Enyo and a pale tan Dollstown Seola one day. These are my wishlist dolls for this year. I've decided to make a few changes this year and I'm going to definitely sell my Kurumi, Yo-SD Lin and Angel Egg Noi (I know I only just got her) and Pipos Heero. With Kurumi as much as I love her and she was my "grail" doll I've decided I much prefer the look of SD Charlotte, so maybe one day I can get a Charlotte again and with Yo-sd Lin I much prefer Yo-sad Kanon so again maybe one day down the track I might try to get a Kanon (so great Volks has just re-released Kanon). Even if I don't end up getting the others I feel comfortable with letting Kurumi and Lin go.

October Photo Challenge 2012 ~ Halloween
Ooops a day late, never mind ;o)
This is Boo my Halloween Kuroo hoping you all had a great Halloween. We went to aussiedolls house for some spooky fun. I made a brain cake for the occasion. Red Velvet on the inside with cream cheese frosting, pink fondant and strawberry "blood" sauce. Yummy!
In keeping with the spooky theme I went to a "meet the spirits of Kalamunda Hotel" night at the start of the week. It is an old pub renowned for its ghostly residents. It was hosted by author Barbara Parks. Although I didn't get any personal messages it was still an interesting night. A guy a few seats down from me took this amazing shot of orbs that were behind where I was sitting.
In other non spooky news, we got a new kitty!! Adopted through Instagram would you believe!! I've always wanted a white cat with one blue eye and one green eye ever since I can remember. When I started doing that 20 day cleaning challenge a few weeks back (remember all my boring cleaning photos Instagram peeps lol) I met a fellow cleaning challenge lady quite randomly, she liked one of my pics, added me, I added her. I was looking through her Instgram pics and there was one of two kittens, one white and one ginger, they were brothers. I commented how I've always wanted a white kitty with eyes like that and she said they are my foster babies and it went from there. However he was on the other side of Australia to me. Thankfully I have the most amazingly kind and patient husband and we were able to adopt him and fly him over to us. He is an amazing little man, very friendly and affectionate. The first night we got him home, after only being at our house probably an hour he was curled by my side in bed purring loudly. I just love him to bits. We've called him Merlin and what a magical little fellow he is and I feel very lucky to have him in my life <3
In doll news, I ordered a little Fabric Tiny Delf. Didn't plan to, can't even remember what lead me to the Luts site in the first place! Anyway she has a very sweet face, and a cute witchy outfit and I like the idea of the cloth body.

Blah blah blah blah
* Still haven't had a chance to finish my 20 day cleaning challenge. I am determined to finish it when the kids go back to school next week.
* Received my Angel Egg doll in the mail yesterday. I need to get her a wig that fits properly. She is beautiful and weird all at the same time. I'm sad that I didn't have that love at first sight feeling with her that I hoped for. We'll see I guess.
* I went into a mad panic yesterday when I saw the new Angel Egg dolls for sale. Of course in my eyes they are more beautiful than the one I ordered even though its exactly the same body and head mold, it's just the painting that is different. Anyway I thought if I sell another doll I could order one. But these days selling a doll that costs over a thousand dollars doesn't happen straight away, of course my doll hasn't sold so I have not ordered another doll. I did come to my senses when I had calmed down that I am actually pretty lucky to have the doll I have and I do not need another one. I need to count my blessings more often I think.
* We might be getting another kitty, not saying more because I don't want to jinx it.
* I've had a very sore shoulder. Not sure if its from too much cleaning lol or pilates. Maybe a combo of both. I've been using Tiger Balm by the truck load, it does help surprisingly. Last night I had the best nights sleep thanks to nurofen and tiger balm lol.
* The doll room is still being sorted out. I still haven't really used it yet for craft or photos. Taking me a while to settle in to that room. It is feeling more like me room but not totally I don't know why. I'm procrastinating I know......
* Oh well that's all I guess.

September Photo Theme ~ Spring
Scraping in by the skin of my teeth....again! lol.
Spring has sprung here in the southern hemisphere though it has been very cold and wet for the last week. Today however is a lovely Spring day and I suddenly felt happier and more enthusiastic about things like taking dolly photos :o)
Here is Mirabelle in her new wig and headband.

Don't forgot October is right around the corner. Octobers photo theme is of course Halloween!! If you are up for a daily challenge don't forgot 31 days of Halloween (one Halloweenish photo everyday for the month of October) :D Instagram tag #31dayshalloween and my Instagram name is resinangels. If you don't have Instagram, why the hell not!? LOL Just joking, if you don't have Instagram and you want to play along just post here or Flickr :D

Spring Cleaning Days 11-15
OK so a quick recap of my week that was. Feeling a bit behind the eight ball this week to be honest. I had my first cold in ages, our dog Suki was at the vets for a couple of days and I had lot's of things on at school for the kids, I don't think there was a day at all where I was able to just drop the kids and come straight home and get things done. I don't cope well with lot's of things going on, I need time at home without interruption to feel recharged. This coming week should be a little better with at least two days this week I will be able to come straight home (Tuesday & Friday) and get on top of things.
Anyway enough of my moaning and on with the cleaning.....
Day 11 ~ Clean washing machine ~ I wish all tasks were this easy!!
I am very lucky that we have two linen cupboards, but I think because we have two we accumulate more stuff!
Day 14 ~ Clean the office ~ Well I kinda skimped on this one too :o( I'm still sorting out my office/doll/craft room, I haven't even finished moving all my stuff in from the old one. This will hopefully get done once we are on school holidays when I have a whole day to do it in.
Organise and declutter the desk ~ My desk wasn't too bad because I haven't been working on it lol. If you had tuned around and looked at my craft table well that's a totally different story! Anyway so I just tidied up and put things away in their correct spots and it was done. I feel like I cheated to be honest but oh well it was nearly the end of the week and I was losing steam fast.
Day 15 ~ Clean patio area and weeding ~ I just didn't get time to do this!! We have so much garden it would take me a week to weed it all, and my type of weeding is with the big weed sprayer not on my hands and knees lol. So that is on my school holiday list, hopefully the girls will muck in and help me :o)
Organise kids wardrobes ~ I bought metal basket drawers about two weeks ago for the girls shoes because I was sick of them being all over the floor and the adult size shoe racks were way too big for their tiny shoes. When I set them up I gave their wardrobe a bit of a tidy so it wasn't too bad. My two little girls share a room so they share a side each of the wardrobe.
So I guess I did get quite a few things done, maybe I was just too busy to notice.
Oh and I nearly forgot! I found the most amazing app called Home Routines. If you like being organised with your housework routines this app is for you! You can set it to have daily tasks, weekly task, reminders, timers! It has everything and it is all customisable :D I'm pretty excited about this lol.
Anyway enough of my moaning and on with the cleaning.....
Day 11 ~ Clean washing machine ~ I wish all tasks were this easy!!
Declutter Linen Cupboards ~ I really groaned when I read this task. I stuff way too many things into to them to the point that I hate opening the doors lol. It was a great push that I needed to get them sorted out because every time I stuffed more into them I thought I really should sort them out....one day. I got rid of quite a bit of stuff. I still need to go through ornaments on the top shelves to purge a few more. I like ornaments, I buy too many and my tastes change so they get stuffed in cupboards.
I am very lucky that we have two linen cupboards, but I think because we have two we accumulate more stuff!
5 minute job was tidy under the laundry sink, which I did do but forgot to take a pic!
Day 12 ~ Clean dishwasher ~ I cheated a bit on this and just gave the door a wipe down and around the door seals. My dishwasher always seems to be full!!
Declutter & organise bathroom cupboards ~ I still have too much stuff!! I'm bad I ignore expiry dates on makeup and perfume. If it still smells alright I still use it. One habit I need to get into is the one in, one out thing. I tend to buy new makeup before my other stuff runs out which is why I've got five bottles of foundation and six mascaras lol. So I may not have cleared out a lot of items from my bathroom cupboard at least I'm realising how my psyche works O_o
Day 13 ~ Organise kids artwork ~ I have been putting this off for about four years lol. My eldest (now 10) had the biggest tub of artwork to sort through but to my surprise it wasn't too bad. I am very glad that our school sends home a couple of big portfolios each year of the children's work that we get to keep, this saved me having to keep every picture in their tubs. So with the kids help we sorted it all out and kept just the extra special pictures. I bought three pretty cardboard boxes and the girls now have them in their rooms to put more artwork in. They were really chuffed with it, especially the littlest one, she ran around the house looking for every picture she has ever drawn to put in her special box lol.
This big display board is in our toy room, I think hubby got it secondhand from an office. It took him about two years to put it up on the wall but it's great, saves my fridge from being totally covered in pictures lol.

My eldest has the emptiest wardrobe of the whole house!! Her chest of drawers however is another matter lol.
Lastly the 5 minute job was tidy outside your front door, clear cobwebs, quick sweep and shake doormat etc.
So I guess I did get quite a few things done, maybe I was just too busy to notice.

Quick cleaning challenge update
Feel like I'm chasing my tail this week. Been so busy with kids school things and other various things that I haven't been home a full day once this week so I'm falling behind in my everyday cleaning not to mention the challenge tasks. I still have the big linen closet to do, haven't even started on today's task and I have washing to do and I need to vacuum and wash the floors. Plus Suki is still at the vet (had to stay overnight) and I have come down with a cold. What a shitty week!

Spring Cleaning Days 1-10
I have embarked on an epic cleaning mission. The Organised Housewife has been running a 20 day cleaning challenge on her blog and seeing as its now Spring in the southern hemisphere it's the perfect time to Spring clean. I've been uploading all my pics to Instagram and Flickr throughout the challenge.
Funnily enough I had reorganised my own cleaning schedule just two weeks before this all started and I was pretty up to date on most of my cleaning jobs. For some reason I love making cleaning routines, I don't always stick to them but just having them written out makes me feel more organised and in control of the housework. So I had my morning and evening routines down pat and a fairly easy to follow weekly job list in place. I think without this the 20 day cleaning challenge would be more challenging. Plus I had a mini spring clean back in July when we had a big party and family staying at our house and I was in super cleaning mode for about four weeks prior to that.
So on with the challenge...
Day 1 ~ Under the kitchen sink. It wasn't too bad under there but I had loads of cleaning stuff that belonged in the laundry and for some weird reason about six cans of fly spray! LOL
Day 2 ~ Main Bedroom ~ This is one room that I just kept putting off and putting off. It wasn't a huge mess but the dressers needed a good dust and I needed to cull some of the ornaments and nic nacs, so it was good to give it a good going over. Even vacuumed under the bed woohoo! Absolutely dreading doing the walk in robe though!! I'm sure that job will pop up soon in the challenge.
Day 3 ~ Laundry ~ Again wasn't too bad as I tidy, sweep and mop the laundry every few days because of the cats sleeping in there. I did clean the glass sliding door which was something I haven't done in forever! Another task for today was organising a laundry routine which I'm still not sure will work for us. I try and do a load every day as it is and it's usually which ever pile is the biggest one gets done. The last thing I want to end up with is loads of washing to fold and put away and I think if I wait a week to do dark colours I will end up with loads because we all wear so many dark colours with school uniforms and works uniforms etc. Anyway will give it some more thought and if my routine is working the way it is why change it.
Day 4 ~ Lounge room ~ Quick dust and wipe over was all that was needed here.
Day 5 ~ Floors and tidy the pantry ~ Floors all done and pantry tidied. It was tempting to pull everything out but she said just a tidy up so that's all I did. I've come to the conclusion that I buy too much food that we don't end up using and I need to make more use of all those darn plastic containers that are overflowing out of my cupboards!!
Day 6 ~ Bathrooms ~ I hate cleaning bathrooms that is all :p
Day 7 ~ The dreaded fridge! We need a new fridge, our one is old and small. I'm sure I could be more organised with a bigger fridge! Also we have way too many condiments! Why my husband needs fifty types of BBQ sauce I will never know!!
Day 8 ~ Kids toy room ~ This was a toughie!! It was pretty tidy anyway because I got stuck into the kids a couple of days before about tidying it up, which they did very well bless their cotton socks! I get very anal about the toy room because I like things to be very ordered, I have spent countless hours organising, printing out labels, buying hundreds of bloody plastic containers and tubs. Only for my kids to mix everything up and mess all my tedious organising up in a matter of hours. So it pains me when I have to chuck Barbie dolls in with Littlest Pet Shops and such. But I have to let my anal ways go when it comes to this room otherwise I will have a nervous breakdown I'm sure. So back to the cleaning day, well I basically picked up was left on the floor, piled up the toy boxes that were out and said I'm done. My plan is that next year when all my girls are in full time school I will devote a day each week to purging and tidying up the toy room. I really would like to get rid of some toys they don't play with anymore but if the kids are home when I try to do it they start playing with them again so I don't chuck anything out. I will get there one day.
Day 9 ~ Kitchen drawers ~ I have too many utensils!!!
Day 10 ~ Tupperware cupboard ~ OMG! Why do I have so many plastic containers!!?? It doesn't help when hubby decides to buy more because they are on special lol. I mean seriously what man buys plastic containers!??...Mine does *sigh*
Anyway I did purge a few and tried to use as many in the fridge and pantry as I could. I really need to get rid of more or at least stop hubby buying anymore!

So there you go the first ten days of the challenge. I wonder what the next ten will be? Will I still have the energy to keep going? This week is going to be busy too with things on at school for the kids so I will have to organise my time well. I also have to add how much I love doing this challenge, I mean if I didn't love it I wouldn't do it. I really like the Organised Housewife blog she has some good tips and a lot of her routines are similar to my own so for me it's easy to follow. I see a lot of resemblance to Flylady on her site, I think she must have got a lot of her ideas from there which is cool I like Flylady too but I think her routines are really helpful when you have no clue how to get started. I still use her 15 minute timer trick for doing jobs that I don't want to do or that seem daunting. I also really love how I've met so many interesting people on Instagram that are also doing the challenge. I like making new friends :o)
Apart from that I haven't really had time for much else. I don't think I've set foot in the doll room all week! Hoping I'll have some free time soon when my house is all clean and shiny lol.
